Eagle Fish Finders on Kayaks?

Thinking about installing one of the eagle fish finders on your kayak fishing platform, but can not decide whether it is right for you? Read on and learn about the pros of having an eagle fish finder gps combo on your next kayak trip.

There are a few important reasons why I end up installing a eagle fish finder on my kayak and not all of them have to do with finding fish. While the concept of locating fish to catch as food or trophy started my research.  The real problem came from a need for bait.

Kayak fishermen do not always have access to the bait barges that more traditional fishermen have so a need to make bait is always on our minds. Eagle fish finders can make this process easier, especially if, like me, you go out and are not able to pull the bait from your usual spots. I like halibut fishing and am always looking for new fishing grounds with flat bottoms. I long I've been interested in spearfishing and the depth andstructural identification abilities eagle fish finders have put me one step closer to exploring this new hobby. With the ability to find structure, location of a reef is no longer a guessing game. I hate to jump in without knowing the depth so this made me want one of the eagle fish finders more than ever.

Some models of the eagle fish finders have GPS capabilities. However. If you find yourself with one of the eagle fish finders, which do not have the depth to find, then GPS, supplemented by landmark spotting may allow you to get back to previous fishing holes that were good producers.

This is just a few of the reasons that I started to look into eagle fish finders, and ended up installing one on my kayak. The most important thing to do is make a list of what features you would expect from eagle fish findersr so that you can buy the right one for you.
