Jacksonville Marinas

The city of Jacksonville in northeastern Florida is a popular boating destination because it has direct access to the Atlantic and the Intercoastal Waterway. Jacksonville has long been a boating center and boasts several excellent marinas to serve boaters.

Palm Cove Marina is a huge facility that bills itself as a complete boating center and it is easy to see why. The 160 acre marina contains a 72,000 foot dry boat storage facility, and a new channel that was dredged in 2008. Palm Cove's wet slips have been designed to accommodate most vessels. Services available at Palm Cove include gas and diesel fuel, transient dockage, a pump out station, full marine service with factory-trained technicians, and sales and brokerage of new and used boats. Amenities at Palm Cove include a laundry, a picnic and barbecue area, an onsite restaurant, a ship's store, 30 and 50 amp electrical hookups, a customer lounge and monthly cookouts. A shopping center and an emergency medical center are located within one block of Palm Cove. Palm Cove is located 150 yards north of marker 32 on the Intercoastal Waterway.

The Ortega Yacht Club Marina is located on the St. Johns River five miles north of Downtown Jacksonville. Its inland location provides protection from Nor'easters and hurricanes for boats. Facilities available at the Ortega Yacht Club Marina include slips, fuel & ice and showers. Yacht sales are also conducted on site.

LambsYacht Center is a full service marina on Jacksonville's Marina Mile that specializes in storage, parts and repair. The facility has a 100 metric ton lift that can move boats up to 22000 pounds in weight. Lambs repairs and services OMC/Johnson, Envinrude, Mercury and MerCruiser boat engines. Services available at Lambs include painting, structural repair, blending, and add ons. One of the best services offered at Lambs is covered wet storage. Fuel is also available at lambs. Uncovered wet storage is also available. Lambs is located at 3376 Lakeshore Boulevard in Jacksonville.

Lakeshore Dry Storage offers boat storage and complete mechanical and electrical repairs and service. It's conveniently located on the Ortega River just ten minutes from Downtown Jacksonville.

Beach Marine is a large facility located just north of the Jacksonville Bridge and South of marker 34 on the east side of the Intrcoastal waterway. The facility has four new docks and a fuel dock.

Amenities available at Beach Marine include 30, 50 & 100 amp electrical power, four bathroom facilities with showers, a weight room, new laundry rooms, a sauna, and two restaurants on site. Ice, oil and drinks are for sale at the fuel dock. A bus stop on the property provides easy access to nearby shopping and restaurants.
